Case Study:

Elite Pro Technology

Keller, TX 8,400 sqft

In 2024, Elite Pro Technology partnered with Magnolia Property Company and the homeowner to help design an 8,400 square foot custom home in Keller specifically for luxury living, family functionality, and everyday reliability. Brought in directly by the homeowner to solve specific aesthetic and technical challenges, Elite delivered integrated audio, video, networking, control, and theater systems that combined high performance with a clean, livable design.

The Project

This project was built around a clear goal: create a highly connected luxury home with powerful automation and effortless control, without allowing the technology to dominate the space. The homeowner wanted local and remote access to the entire system from in-wall touchscreens and mobile devices, while maintaining a clean, intentional design with no visible wiring or distracting equipment.

The Home

This 8,400 square foot residence, designed and built by Magnolia, includes a four-bedroom private home on the second floor, an attached two-bedroom mother-in-law house, four-car and two-car garages, multiple executive home offices, a wine room, a screened outdoor patio, and a traditional architectural design. The property was built to support both family life and work-from-home functionality, which required the technology systems to serve many different spaces without becoming intrusive.

The Challenge

One of the most technically demanding portions of the project was the home theater. Because the theater sits in the center of the house, it needed to deliver top-tier Dolby Atmos performance without bleeding sound into the rest of the home. That required intentional room design, acoustic isolation, and careful coordination during construction.

The dedicated theater features a massive 100-inch OLED display and a Dolby Atmos 7.1 surround system with fully integrated and concealed speakers. To preserve the listening experience without affecting adjacent spaces, our team designed the room with secondary walls, acoustic insulation, and decoupling methods to keep sound contained even though the room is centrally located within the home.

The Challenge

The challenge was not just adding technology, it was making a large and highly connected home feel simple and dependable. The owner wanted broad system integration with minimal friction, including whole-home entertainment, strong Wi-Fi, outdoor living support, intercom access, content protection for children, and remote control from mobile devices.

At the same time, the home needed to avoid feeling delicate or overly complex. The systems had to be robust, family-friendly, and easy to operate, while still delivering premium performance across shared living areas, private spaces, and outdoor entertainment zones.

The Vision

This home was designed to support real daily living at a very high level. The homeowner wanted a system that delivered convenience, entertainment, security, and control, while still feeling durable, intuitive, and easy to live with. Because the owner travels frequently, full remote access from anywhere in the world was essential. Just as important, the technology had to be dependable enough that the family would not need to constantly manage or troubleshoot it.
