Case Study:

Elite Pro Technology

Bartonville, TX 8,800 sqft

In 2026, Elite Pro Technology is delivering a fully integrated 8,800 square foot luxury smart home in partnership with Hayhurst Brothers Homes. From the beginning, the vision for this project was clear: create a home with a timeless, analog character while quietly embedding advanced lighting, shading, audio, video, and automation systems throughout the space.

The result is a home where technology is not meant to be seen. It is meant to be felt, experienced, and trusted.

The Project

The challenge in Bartonville was not simply adding smart home features. It was integrating a complex set of modern systems into a home with a very specific emotional and visual identity.

This home includes more than 600 linear feet of LED lighting, fully motorized drapes and shades, distributed audio and video, hidden speaker systems, occupancy-based lighting automation, and carefully layered lighting accents throughout the interior. At the same time, the homeowner and design team wanted the home to feel tactile, warm, and unmistakably analog.

That meant blending advanced automation with finishes and interfaces that felt natural to the space, including brass knob-style controls tied to a sophisticated digital backbone.

Elite Pro Technology

The Home

This project combines rustic warmth and classic materials with an exceptionally high level of digital integration. The home features a rich, highly detailed interior with spaces such as a full parlor bar room and a dedicated wine room, complete with solid walnut shelving, brass knobs, and a distinctly old-world feel.

The designer’s goal was not to showcase technology. It was to preserve the authenticity of the home’s character while allowing modern systems to disappear into the background. That meant every control decision, every lighting placement, and every equipment choice had to support the architecture rather than compete with it.

The Approach

Elite Pro Technology approached this project with one guiding principle: the technology should be virtually invisible.

Every system was planned to support the way the home looks and feels, rather than draw attention to itself. Lighting was designed not only for function, but for mood, architectural emphasis, and daily living. Audio solutions were integrated discreetly into rocks, walls, and surrounding elements so the listening experience remains immersive without visual distraction. Window treatments, lighting scenes, and environmental controls were designed to respond naturally to the home and the people living in it.

The result is a system that is deeply capable, but intentionally quiet.

Design Meets Technology

One of the most distinctive aspects of this home is the way traditional materials and tactile finishes are paired with advanced automation. The home’s design leans heavily into warmth, craftsmanship, and analog charm, while the infrastructure beneath it is highly sophisticated.

Instead of forcing the homeowner to adapt to technology, the technology adapts to the home.

Lighting presets respond automatically. Shades move quietly in the background. Audio and video are available where needed without interrupting the design. Controls feel appropriate to the materials and mood of the home. This creates an experience that feels natural, elevated, and effortless.

The Result

This residence stands out because it proves that high-performance home technology does not have to feel cold, modern, or intrusive. It can support a home that feels classic, lived-in, and deeply personal. Lighting was carefully designed to enhance both the material and the mood.

A custom tunable white LED backlighting panel behind the Cristallo wall creates a striking illuminated effect, bringing out the natural depth and character of the stone while allowing the ambiance to shift with the space.
