A Full Technology Overhaul for a Growing Church

Case Study:

Elite Pro Technology

Paradise, TX: Grace Fellowship Church

In Paradise, Texas, Elite Pro Technology led a full technology systems overhaul for a growing church as part of a major building addition. What began as an environment constrained by limited infrastructure, overcrowded equipment placement, and aging system organization became a fully engineered technology backbone designed to support worship, communication, production, and long-term operational reliability.

This project was not simply an upgrade. It was a complete rethinking of how the church’s technology systems should be designed, protected, and supported for the future.

Elite Pro Technology

Our Approach

It is important for church technology to be reliable, easy for volunteers to use, cost-effective to maintain, and built to remain serviceable for years to come. This is one of the most practical ways to steward the limited financial resources of the organization.

A properly designed system reduces failures, improves day-to-day usability, protects critical services from disruption, and gives the church a stable foundation for worship, communication, and future growth without constant rework or costly fixes.

The Challenge

The church’s existing technology environment had outgrown its original design. Critical equipment was housed on wire shelving in a closet, leaving little room for proper organization, serviceability, airflow, expansion, or long-term reliability. As the church expanded, the demands on the infrastructure increased dramatically.

At the same time, the project introduced significant technical requirements, including large-scale video distribution, extensive fiber connectivity, a full production environment, LED display systems, campus-wide networking, and electrical stability concerns in a building highly sensitive to power variations and frequent lightning exposure.

Space inside remained extremely limited, which meant every square foot had to be used intentionally

Our Approach

Elite Pro Technology approached the project as a full systems infrastructure redesign, not a patchwork upgrade.

We replaced the improvised equipment setup with a serviceable, scalable, and professional core for the church’s technology systems.

From there, every major technology system was rebuilt around reliability, distribution, protection, and future readiness.

Design Meets Technology

One of the most important technical challenges in this project was electrical stability.

Because the building is especially sensitive to electrical variation and located in an area prone to lightning strikes, grounding and protection were not secondary concerns, they were mission-critical. To address this, Elite Pro Technology designed and built a custom star grounding system to provide a more stable, controlled electrical reference across the technology environment.

That level of engineering helped protect critical systems, improve performance consistency, and reduce vulnerability in a demanding real-world environment.

Built for Growth

A major success of this project was turning a cramped and improvised technology setup into an organized infrastructure platform the church can actually operate and grow with.

The new MDF was designed for clean service access, structured expansion, and proper cable management. Rack layout, system distribution, and equipment placement were all planned to support long-term maintainability, not just initial installation. This gives the church a much stronger operational foundation for worship services, video production, communications, and future campus growth.

The Result

The Paradise Grace Fellowship project stands as a major transformation in both capability and infrastructure maturity. What was once a constrained and vulnerable setup is now a fully engineered church technology environment capable of supporting large-scale video, communications, campus-wide displays, network distribution, and modern ministry operations.

More importantly, the church now has technology systems that are organized, protected, scalable, and designed to serve the mission of the ministry without the constant limitations of the previous environment.
